About
CIWI was founded on December 2023, with the goal to create a global company that would support the water sector, from drinking water, to municipal wastewater, and industry water. Currently, we focus on providing an alternative for conventional chemical coagulants, like ironchloride and aluminiumsulphate. While these are an essential product for water treamtent, they come with certain downsides and limitations.
We at CIWI believe that electrochemical technologies, harnessing the movement of electrons, have great potential, but are not always properly understood. According to our vision, innovation can only be achieved by bringing technical knowledge and an entrepreneurial mindset together, innovation can not take place when there are no end-users that recognise your value.
Timeline
After the technical developments in the first months, CIWI is currently involved in the validation programme at Yes!Delft. The goal is to focus on a product-market fit, seeking potential customers and adressing their needs.
