Demonstration of a CIWI system in an operational environment at RWZI Lage Zwaluwe during Q1 and Q2 of 2026. Objectives are:

• producing 0.5 kg Fe/h coagulant on site
• dosing it for additional phosphate removal.

Will be performed with drinking water company Brabant Water at their industrial process water treatment plant in Q3 of 2026. Objectives are:

• Dosing at flotation (DAF) facilty
• Remove DOC and monitor water quality

• CIWI’s product obtained similar P-removal as FeCl₃.
• Lowered acid introduction by 30%.
